Catching Up...

Hey out there! :)

It's been a while since I last posted. I'm sorry about that. I've been swamped with catching up in class among other things. But today is my day of 'rest' and so here I am...

Mike is still working hard at St. B and First Baptist has extended to him the priviledge of leading worship for the DOXA service on Sunday mornings...it's the most fantastic group of people. We love them all so much! The truth is - Mike was made to lead worship! Tonight he plays for the sweet people in the Celebrate Recovery program at the Naz church. (Which worked out beautifully into a DATE NIGHT! - that's right - thanks Nanny & Poppy!) He continues to work hard and stand tall and I'm VERY proud of my man...

Honestly - what was I thinking? (at least I like a good challenge)! I have been working hard for the past 2 years toward a BBA in Accounting, when I suddenly felt compelled to change my major - to Nursing - of all things!! But I'm excited and the Lord has really cut a clear path to that end. It's going to be a season of incredibly hard work, but "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." (Phil 4:13) I can do anything for three months, right?! I could not do this without the love and support of my amazing husband, girls and MOM! Thanks Momma - I love ya! :) She tangles with the wildcat child we call Autumn while I'm in class...

Gracie is doing wonderful in Kindergarten and LOVES school. She is such a beautiful and brilliant girl...my little scientist! Autumn is learning and growing like crazy too. It's hard to believe she's gonna be 3 years old this summer! She's having a blast hanging out with Memaw while mommy goes to 'cool'...

Things are crazy busy around here as usual. But in the midst of it all, the Lord has shown me how truly blessed we are! I'll try not to wait so long to post again! We love you all and you are in our hearts and prayers continually...

We are so blessed to have you and Mike as part of the family @ FBC! I am so grateful Mike is serving us so well in using his gifts in the church! To God be the glory!
