Here's what Autumn looked like when she headed out to MDO today. It was "Noah's Ark" day and they were allowed to dress up as animals. Well, if you've spent more than 10 seconds around my children, you will know that being a puppy or kitty is daily goods at our house. They purr, bark and walk on all fours more than they do anything else! So, the dress-up closet presents:
And this one, well, we should probably brush better....
I hold you in my heart for we have shared together God's blessings. Phil 1:7

A Bit Of Reflection...
Greetings from the long-lost blogger who hasn't blogged in quite some time! Just wanted to comment on this lovely time of year, most definitely my favorite. There's just something about the scent of fall, and how the leaves start to change. The excitement of thinking how Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. Remembering how me and Trina used to go for walks down one lane roads way out in the country and feel the cool wind blowing on our necks. But somehow we didn't seem to feel the cold walking hand in hand. It's still like that for us, by the way:)
I guess for me, Autumn is a time of reflection. This year seems to be flying by so fast, and I find myself deliberately thinking about how much the Lord has done for us, and how far He's brought us in the last few years, but especially this past year. It seems as though He's taken a few small steps of faith and blessed them tremendously. I find that I still constantly mess up and struggle with things, but God is still so faithful to me. How do you explain something like that?? Really, I don't know...God doesn't think along the same lines of rationale that we do. I believe it's nothing more than His grace, and the fact that He absolutely and truly loves us. To what magnitude He loves us, I'm not sure we can even really fathom... I mean, He created us out of dirt so that we could have a relationship with Him... we're the ONLY creatures He's created to do that, and you have to admit He's made some pretty amazing stuff! So anyways, I just write all of this to say how awesome God is and has been this year, and that He's consistantly in the business of blowing my mind!
Hope everyone in blogger land is doing well. Go out and enjoy the red and yellow leaves!

Quick Updates
Well, friends. Another month has flown by. Here we are practically knocking on November's door. Things are going well for our little family of four. We are busy bees no doubt.
Mike is working hard as always. We are praying through some VERY EXCITING changes right now. I will update in more detail when the Lord gives me the "go-ahead". Until then, please join us at the feet of our Savior over His unimaginable blessings!
Gracie & Autumn just returned to school this week after Fall Break. I'll post about our fun week together (with pictures) when I can breath for a few seconds at the same time I'm in front of the computer!
It never fails for my semester's to become increasingly intense as they draw to a close. I'm over half way through this Fall semester now. Only about 5 weeks to go!! Things are going well. I've managed some pretty good grades in some pretty tough classes. I'm glad, but I'll be happy when I cross that finish line for school! I want to thank all of you for your prayers and words of encouragement. The Lord uses them to keep me moving forward...
I'm praying the Lord's blessings on each and every one of you this weekend. Hug your kids, kiss your spouse. Take hold of the time you have and give it wholeheartedly back to the One who transcends time...
Blessings!

So, Two Things
First, I thought you would like to know that I apparently am not the best at finding well-fitted clothes for Autumn...as you can see, she had a slight problem with her pants. She was minding her own business, taking her medicine (she's had some allergy issues) and down they came! Just a day in the life, people...
Second, Friday is our family night. We usually do something fun for dinner and watch a movie or play games or whatever. So last night we chose Jersey Mike's, chips, drinks, cookies for dessert. We had a "cookie picnic" in the living room floor while we watched The Island of Nim. It took the girls about 2.5 seconds to devour these things, which by the way had enough chocolate chunks in them to make their own candy bar! Here's the proof:
I would have taken a picture of the actual cookies, but do you think the girls wanted to wait around for mom to take a picture...
And one more thing. This is what happens when you wait six months for a "stone bruise" to go away. It wasn't a stone bruise and it definitely didn't go away. So now I have to wear this thing for at least two weeks and then see what happens. The fascia in the bottom of my foot is inflammed which developed a bone spur...ouch! So anyway, all the hard work walking two miles every morning...not helping. So after all this time building this habit I have to quit for now. Dern.
